National Novel Writing Month

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30. Audacious!

In partnership with the National Hispanic Cultural Center's Women & Creativity Conference, A Room of Her Own presents events for writers in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The spring weekend will be packed with numerous opportunities—writing classes and one-on-one manuscript consultations, small-group workshops, even a free theatre performance—for creative women to hone and reinvigorate their writing life in the company of incredible women.
